Agreement Signed for Sinovac Vaccine Production in Egypt. Egypt signed an agreement with the Chinese company Sinovac to produce the vaccine developed against the coronavirus in Egypt.
While the fight against the corona virus epidemic, which is effective worldwide, Egyptian Biological Products and Vaccines Holding Company (VACSERA) signed an agreement with the Chinese company Sinovac to produce the corona virus vaccine in Egypt. Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly, Egyptian Health Minister Hala Zayed and China’s Ambassador to Egypt Liao Likiang attended the signing ceremony held in Cairo, the capital of Egypt.
After the signing of the agreement, Madbouly and Likiang, in their statement, focused on the cooperation of China and Egypt in the fight against the Covid-19 outbreak. Madbouly said, “The signed agreement is very important. It offers Egypt the opportunity to produce Covid-19 vaccines locally. “We expect the vaccine to start production as soon as possible,” he said.
Likiang said, “The signed agreement is a new and important success in China-Egypt’s cooperation against the corona virus epidemic. “We attach great importance to helping Africa, as well as Egypt and the Middle East countries, in combating the Corona virus epidemic.”
