Vaccine Exports from the USA
Vaccine Exports from the USA. In the corona virus vaccine shipment made by the US pharmaceutical company Pfizer to Mexico this week, there are also vaccine doses produced in the facilities in the USA.
The shipment of vaccines manufactured at Pfizer’s Kalamazoo manufacturing facility in Michigan state to Mexico was the company’s first overseas shipment from facilities in the US, after US vaccine export restrictions under the previous President Donald Trump ended in late March.
The US government has been under intense pressure in recent weeks to send excess vaccines to other countries in desperate need of the vaccine. Many countries where the Corona virus is still very common are trying to obtain a vaccine dose to reduce the effects of the pandemic.
10 MILLION DOSE GONE
Wealthy states were trying to stockpile Pfizer and Moderna’s corona virus vaccines due to the extremely high efficiency rate. Safety concerns and production problems of AstraZeneca and Johnson & Johnson companies about corona virus vaccines have discredited these vaccines.
Pfizer has sent over 10 million doses of vaccine to Mexico so far.
